Stuff that could be being worked on (and was...)

Rocket powered 'jump packs' for infantry
Sonic weapons
Hand held SAM
Infra red and night vision kit.

All of those went at least as far as blueprints and most went to prototype

Well i thought we coudl have a 'stop the rocket trooper' game.

We mock up a jump pack, attach kermit to a big line hooked of the ceiling and propel him through the corridors at high speed....

Well, if you're volunteering to try it out during the "test pilot" part of the design lifecycle ;)

Funny you should mention NV. As the Germans got it into production, and actually used it, during the closing days of the war. IIRC, the system that was used was mounted on some Panther Ausf. G's - and 3 of them managed to brew up an entire battalion of Yank Shermans.

And of course, let's not forget the helicopter as seen in Where Eagles Dare.

(I know, I know, there were prototypes being developed....)

I've still got a load of stick on rondels for crash test dummies from working at TRL. Right, whose up for spray painting Gadge bright orange, slapping a load of rondels on him, then propelling him into a wall on a line rocket at 150 Mph?

Sod the back pack. Let's stick him in the straight in the V1. It could be like Operation Crossbow.

He could be our very own Hanna Reitsch, I'm sure he's got a suitable wig somewhere in his house.

I know this is all very premature and the game is ages away, and CR needs to be got out of the way first...

But what are recommendations we have for full face masks in this environment?

Obviously it'd be better without, but shots to the face in CQB could be pretty devestating.

Thoughts?
